Agriculture ministry eases requirements on the importation of mahangu and beans

The Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform has eased requirements on the importation of mahangu and beans from neighbouring Angola. This amid the looming drought. It is in an effort to supplement insufficient existing reserves. Ndiya-puki Nghituwamata, the ministry’s Executive Director, said the trade is only allowed at the Oshikango border post, where the importation has been observed to be more prevalent. Here is the Ministry’s spokesperson, Jona Musheko.
