More women have come forward with claims of rape and sexual assault by comedian and actor Russel Brand. The Times Newspaper, which first reported the story, says it’s working to verify new allegations. Dr. Charlotte Proudman is the director of the gender equality campaign organisation Right To Equality – she is not surprised that the allegations have taken so long to emerge.
