A woman and her three friends were, on Friday, robbed after three suspects smashed their car window and gained entrance to the victim’s car at Independence Stadium in Windhoek. The Namibian Police Force, Chief Inspector Elifas Kuwinga stated that while the victims were in their Chevrolet sedan and the suspects drove some meters away from the scene with the victims in the car and threatened them before leaving the victims in the bushes. It is alleged that the suspects drove away with the car plus two cellphones. The vehicle was later recovered at a Havana dumping site with the battery missing. No arrest has been made yet and police investigations continue.
