A 26-year-old man died after he was allegedly stabbed to death by a 21-year-old suspect at Omuthiya. According to a crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force’s Deputy Commissioner Wynand Neels, the deceased and suspect were reportedly involved in a physical altercation at a shebeen in the Omuthiya town area. He added that the suspect assaulted the 26-year-old with his fist and then stabbed him with a knife in the chest. The victim died on the spot. The deceased’s body was taken to the Omuthiya police mortuary for a post-mortem to be conducted and the next of kin are not yet informed.
