12-Year legal battle ends in guilty verdict for American nationals

After a protracted 12-year legal battle, American nationals Kevin Townsend and Marcus Thomas have been declared guilty in the Windhoek High Court for the 2011 murder of Namibian Andre Heckmair. They were also found guilty of a theft charge, with Thomas facing further convictions for illegally importing ammunition, possessing a firearm, and obstructing justice.
