In reaction to the Zondo Commission’s announced plans to study his and his deputy Floyd Shivambu’s bank records, Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema has insisted he has nothing to hide. Newsflash reports that the commission has requested to see Malema’s financial records, those of his wife and for all companies that are linked to him following a whistleblower’s report about a number of state contracts Malema and his deputy were allegedly involved in. Meanwhile the Commission has refused to comment on the statement by former President Jacob Zuma that his children have have been included in the ongoing investigations and that the commission has turned its attention to his children’s bank accounts. Zuma said he draws the line when it comes to anyone involving his children and has vowed to fight back if any of them are harassed.
