The second edition of the MTC Namibia Youth Games got off to a rough start, with young athletes from various participating regions stranded and left to sleep on the floor, as mattresses and beds were inadequate to cater for all arriving athletes. It was also reported that athletes were given only a slice of bread and black coffee for breakfast, something Minister of Sports, Youth and National Service Agnes Tjongarero told Future Media News is down to more people arriving than were invited.
