Petrus Linekela Uugwanga, who was earlier this year suspended by the Agricultural Business Development Agency to pave the way for allegations against him to be investigated, has allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest with a shotgun. The Namibia press agency quotes a crime report availed by Nampol spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi as saying that a pump action shotgun was found a few metres from the body of the suspended managing director which was lying next to a grey Volkswagen Amarok registered in his name. “The motive is not known, there was no suicide note left behind and his next of kin have been informed,” said Shikwambi, adding that police investigations into the matter continue.
