A company generating electricity that supplies South Sudan’s capital Juba has begun load shedding on Tuesday with the aim of a total power shut down within three days. FSN reports that Ezra Construction and Development Group that generates the power says the power plant is in a critical state and cannot operate any longer due to a lack of foreign currency. The management of the company, also known as JEDCO, says the power load-shedding will start from April 6 until a complete power shut down.
