Leading online travel website for tailor-made vacations, Tourlane, polled over 1,200 travelers on how the pandemic affected their travel behavior this year, and what travel trends are emerging for 2021. The questions ranged from booking criteria to the most popular destinations for 2021, where Namibia ranked fourth behind French Polynesia and Costa Rica. More than two thirds of international travelers say they prefer a destination that offers plenty of outdoor activities with most wanting to travel for 2 – 3 weeks in the spring or summer of 2021. Safaris are also the most preferred holiday experience for French travelers who booked a trip in 2021, something that plays into Namibia’s favour.
