Airlink has announced the suspension of its flights to and from Skukuza Airport in the Kruger National Park in Mpumalanga following an outbreak of Covid-19 in the park. The Lower Sabie Rest Camp has also been closed until further notice. Airlink’s managing director Rodger Foster says the step has been taken to protect customers, crews, and personnel from exposure to the coronavirus. All operations at the Skukuza Airport will be stopped until the 28th of this month. He apologised to ticket holders for any inconvenience.
