South African Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Thoko Didiza is extending the closing date of the state agricultural land application process, whereby Government is making available 896 farms measuring 700-thousand hectares of underutilised or vacant state land in the Eastern Cape, Free State, KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West and Northern Cape, to Friday. This as the department’s Reggie Ngcobo says they have been inundated with applications.
