The Blood Transfusion Service of Namibia is urging the public to donate blood urgently to improve the critical low blood stock levels and to enable them to meet demand. The Services’ Supervisor Donor Recruitment and Public Relations Officer, Titus Shivute, told Future Media News that the December period leading into January is always a difficult time to collect blood as many donors are away on holiday but that the Service is doing their part to make it easier for people to donate.
