Women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship remains essential for sustainable and inclusive economic growth of any given economy, Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, has said. The Namibia press agency quotes the Prime Minister as saying that the effects of COVID-19 on trade, especially on the global supply chain is widely acknowledged, hence in order to counteract the COVID-19 related economic challenges it is important for countries to come up with deliberate policies and programs to complement existing global strategies to gradually yield results for women economic empowerment.
