The Namibian Police Force Forensic Institute was officially inaugurated today and the keynote address was delivered by President Hage Geingob. President Geingob said at the event, that over two decades Namibia has experienced some gruesome murders, perpetrated mainly against women so in light of this, forensic science is an essential tool that enables law enforcement to either prevent or solve these types of crimes. Future Media news caught up with Inspector General of the Namibian Police Force, Lieutenant General Sebastian Ndeitunga who said this is a significant step for them.
