The Office of the Prime Minister, which estimates that government interventions to mitigate damage by heavy rains and drought in recent months will cost N$160 million over six months, has established temporary relocation sites for the food insecure communities affected by flooding in the Kavango West region where they will be provided with relief support. We spoke to the Executive Director at the Office of the Prime Minister I-Ben Nashandi who said they are done with the first round which targeted communities that where heavily affected.
