The outgoing US president Donald Trump and the Trump organisation have been ordered by the New York County State Supreme Court to turn over documents related to a property under investigation by New York’s attorney-general. The New York Times reports that this follows allegations that Trump, his organisation, and Ralph Mastromanaco, an engineer involved in the Seven Springs Estate, inflated assets to obtain millions of dollars in tax benefits. In a statement, the state’s attorney-general Letitia James says her office will ensure that all parties involved comply with the court order.
