Inspector-General of the Namibian Police Force, Lieutenant-General Sebastian Ndeitunga, said Namibia will always render assistance for International Peacekeeping Missions when requested to do so because the country is part of the international solidarity. The Namibia press agency reports that while welcoming 11 members of the police contingent who returned from the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in South Sudan, where they have spent two years, Ndeitunga added that for years, Namibia has been assisted by other nations and individuals, and that is why Namibia is today enjoying its independence peacefully.
