The Namibian Police have once again called for members of the public with information that could lead to arrests in four high profile cases, to come forth and contact the police. Nampa reports that these cases include the murder of Dawid Bezuidenhout High School learners Magdalena Stoffels in 2010; the murder of nine-year-old Cheryl Avihe Ujaha in 2018; the murder of Andy Kazekondjo in September this year and the rape of a 12-year-old girl in Windhoek’s Havana informal settlement. According to the Head of NamPol’s Criminal Investigations Directorate, Moritz!Naruseb, a combined amount of N$ 310 000 in rewards for information that could lead to the arrests and prosecution of suspects in these cases has been availed by the police.
