The Namibia Airports Company has received interim airport operating licenses for all of the country’s eight airports,, having a week earlier timeously submitted license applications to the Namibia Civil Aviation Authority. The Hosea Kutako and Walvis Bay International Airports as well as the Andima Toivo ya Toivo Airport at Ondangwa have been issued licenses valid for a period of eighteen months until 05 May 2022, while the previously unlicensed aerodromes of Eros airport, and the four regional airports at Rundu, Katima Mulilo, Lüderitz, and Keetmanshoop have been issued licenses valid for a period of twenty-four months until 05 November 2022.
