Future Media and SanlamAllianz Hit4Hope Charity Golf Day Raises Nearly N$120,000 for Educational Empowerment
08 October 2025
Building on a legacy of compassion and community impact, the Future Media and SanlamAllianz Hit4Hope Charity Golf Day 2025 has once again demonstrated the transformative power of collective action. Held on 28 March 2025 at the Windhoek Golf & Country Club, this year’s event raised an outstanding N$119,955.81 for educational advancement in Namibia.
The funds will directly benefit two extraordinary organizations making measurable differences in young Namibians’ lives: LearnOnOne and Side by Side Early Intervention Center. Through spirited competition, generous auction participation, and unwavering community support, participants created pathways to brighter futures for countless learners across the nation.
A Partnership Rooted in Purpose
SanlamAllianz’s partnership with Future Media reflects a shared vision where education, empowerment, and inclusion form the foundation of national progress. As SanlamAllianz continues its bold evolution embracing innovation while deepening its commitment to Namibian communities the Hit4Hope Charity Golf Day stands as a testament to what becomes possible when purpose meets action.
“At SanlamAllianz Allianz, we believe that investing in education is investing in Namibia’s future,” says Tega Shiimi ya Shiimi, CEO at SanlamAllianz Investments. “The nearly N$120,000 raised through Hit4Hope 2025 represents more than financial support—it represents our collective commitment to ensuring every child, regardless of ability or circumstance, has access to quality education. Supporting LearnOnOne and Side by Side Early Intervention aligns perfectly with our strategic pillars of Health and Welfare, and Training and Development. We’re proud to stand alongside Future Media and all participants in creating lasting change.”
Empowering Change Through Education
Side by Side Early Intervention Center continues to be a beacon of hope for children with disabilities and their families, providing specialized support that unlocks potential and champions inclusion throughout Namibia’s education system.
“Receiving this generous contribution from Hit4Hope fills our hearts with gratitude and renewed determination,” shares Huipie van Wyk, Managing Director of Side by Side Early Intervention. “These funds translate directly into expanded services, enhanced resources, and most importantly more children discovering their unique abilities. Every Namibian child deserves to be heard, included, and celebrated. Thanks to Future Media, SanlamAllianz, and every participant who swung their club for hope, we’re making that vision a reality, one child at a time.”
LearnOnOne Foundation continues revolutionizing access to quality education through innovative television and online platforms, ensuring that geography and circumstance never limit a learner’s potential.
“Hit4Hope embodies the spirit of educational equity we champion every day,” says Rukee Kaakunga, Brand Manager for LearnOnOne. “This latest contribution will enable us to take a monumental step in content localisation: funding the production of Early Childhood Development content into Oshiwambo. This crucial investment allows us to specifically target and boost learner success right from the foundation. When golfers teed off, they weren’t just playing a game – they were opening doors to knowledge, opportunity, and transformed futures for Namibian children. We are profoundly grateful for this continued partnership with SanlamAllianz and Future Media.”
A Community United in Purpose
Future Media recognizes that meaningful progress requires collective effort, shared vision, and sustained commitment to the communities we serve.
Zellmari Brandt, Marketing Manager, Future Media: “The success of Hit4Hope 2025 reflects the incredible generosity and community spirit that defines Namibia. When we come together with purpose as we did on 28 March, we create ripples of positive change that extend far beyond a single day. We’re immensely grateful to SanlamAllianz for their unwavering partnership, to every golfer who participated, and to all our sponsors who made this achievement possible. Together, we’re not just supporting education we’re investing in Namibia’s future.”
