The Roads Authority opened a branch of the Namibian Traffic Information System (NaTIS) at Henties Bay on Monday. The Namibia press agency reports that the office will offer over-the-counter services on vehicle registration and licensing, written learner’s licence testing and renewal of driving licence and vehicle licences with registration, it will however not be providing all examining functions for vehicles and drivers in the meantime. Speaking while officiating at the event, Deputy Works and Transport Minister Veikko Nekund, said the Ministry, in conjunction with the RA, will continue to construct new vehicle and driver testing centres as well as upgrade existing centres to ensure effective and efficient service delivery in all corners of the country.
