President Hage Geingob on Monday said it is unacceptable that Africa remains excluded from the United Nations Security Council and that it is time the security council’s representation reflects the current global geopolitical formations and security threats. “Africa is a capable partner and therefore Africa should occupy her rightful position at the UN, in the interest of global peace and stability,” the Namibia press agency quotes Geingob as saying in a statement availed to mark the commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the UN.
