President Hage Geingob on Monday appointed outgoing Allan Gray Namibia Managing Director, James Mnyupe as his economic advisor with effect from 01 September 2020.Mnyupe, is a chartered accountant by profession and a graduate of the University of Namibia and Rhodes University in South Africa who has previously served as a member of the Presidential high level panel on the Namibian economy. A statement issued by the Presidency explains that in light of this pedigree in the field of economy and investments, Mnyupe will play a pivotal role in assisting president Geingob in the execution of post-COVID-19 recovery plans for Namibia.
