Egypt has donated medical supplies including face shields, goggles, rubber boots, medical masks, sterile protective gowns, protective gown suits, and sterile gloves worth N$ 2.5 million to Namibia to reinforce the country’s capabilities to handle the increase in active Covid-19 cases. Information provided to the Namibia press agency by the Egyptian Embassy said the Egyptian Government has committed to contributing to the fight against Covid-19 in Africa, and that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi had directed the allocation of US$ 4 million in the form of medical equipment related to the fight against COVID-19 to other African nations.
