A Gauteng government report has revealed the proxy company of the husband of the presidential spokesperson received over 46.4-million rand for Covid-19 services. Newsflash reports that Thandisizwe Madzikane Diko’s proxy, Ledla Structural Development, is one of many who are reported to have benefited from Covid-19 tenders issued by the Gauteng Health Department. Diko is a family friend of Health MEC Bandile Masuku and the husband of president Cyril Ramaphosa’s spokesperson, Khusela Diko. The provincial government says it wants to ensure all those implicated in the plundering of state funds are held accountable.
