Students from the College of the Arts visual arts department diploma course have painted a mural on the exterior wall of the National Art Gallery of Namibia reflecting their observations about how Namibians have been affected by COVID-19. A press release issued by the Gallery explains that the “mural essentially serves as a reminder to take care of ourselves and those most dear to us, but it also highlights whom we need to appreciate our essential service workers [such as] taxi drivers and the elderly who have found themselves most vulnerable”.
