Two security guards were allegedly robbed at gunpoint while loading boxes of money into a cash-in-transit vehicle at the Black Chain complex at the corner of Independence Avenue and Clemence Kapuuo Street in Katutura at around noon on Sunday. According to a police report issued on Sunday by the Namibian Police Force the suspects loaded the money into a silver Polo hatchback and sped off, while a silver Toyota Hilux single cab pick-up with a fake number plate was spotted aiding the suspects in the Polo to flee the scene. “The amount of stolen money is yet to be determined and no arrest or recovery has been made yet,” the report said.
