An asteroid the size of a bus is set to make a close flyby of Earth today. Dubbed 2020 SW, the object will travel pass some 13,000 miles from Earth, closer than the moon, and even weather satellites which orbit the planet but observations carried out by astronomers identified a trajectory which ruled out any chance of the asteroid colliding with Earth. Dr. Riaan Steenkamp, the Head of Physics and Astrophysics at the University of Namibia, also told Future Media News that Namibians have no need to worry.
