A rhino horn trafficker and repeat offender who also attempted to bribe a police officer last year, have been sentenced by the Randburg Magistrates’ Court to 15 years in prison. Newsflash reports that Yanseh Fenq will spend an effective ten years behind bars, following a plea and sentence agreement. He has previous convictions from 2015 and 2018 for the illegal possession and transportation of rhino horn. Police say while facing charges for wildlife trafficking, he offered a bribe to a police officer to recommend the court grant him bail.
