Future Media and Sanlam are pleased to announce the return of the Hit 4 Hope Charity Golf Day, set for Friday, 28 March 2025. Following the success of previous events, which raised N$467,449 since 2022, the partnership will continue to support vital education initiatives in Namibia.

Education remains a key challenge in Namibia, and Future Media is dedicated to supporting efforts to improve access to quality education. This year’s event will again provide an opportunity for local corporates to make a meaningful contribution to organizations working to enhance education across the country.

Gary Stroebel, CEO of Future Media, comments:

“Education is one of the most powerful tools for shaping a brighter future. Partnering with Sanlam for Hit 4 Hope enables us to support Namibian youth by providing opportunities and resources for their educational journey. We look forward to another impactful day, where every swing brings us closer to a better tomorrow.”

Dr Evans Simataa, General Manager: Brand & People – Sanlam, comments:

“At Sanlam, we believe in the transformative power of education to build a brighter and more sustainable future. Our continued partnership with Future Media for the Hit 4

Hope Charity Golf Day is a testament to our commitment to investing in the next generation of leaders and innovators in Namibia. Through this initiative, we aim to contribute to meaningful change, ensuring that more Namibian children have access to the education they deserve. We are proud to be part of this journey, and together with our corporate partners, we look forward to making a lasting impact on the future of our country.”

Proceeds from the event will benefit two key educational organizations:

  • Side-by-Side Early Intervention Centre: Offering critical support for children with disabilities, including therapy, nutritional support, and assistive devices, to ensure they are ready for mainstream schooling.
  • LearnOnOne Foundation: A free educational platform delivering Namibian curriculum content on OneAfrica, DStv channel 284, and on-demand through learnonone.org, focusing on core subjects and specialized courses.

Sanlam and Future Media invite corporates and the wider community to participate in the Hit 4 Hope Charity Golf Day by entering teams, sponsoring a waterhole, or donating prizes and auction items. For more details, please contact Zellmari Brandt at zellmari@futuremedia.com.na
