Title Videographer

Job summary We are seeking for a talented and creative Videographer to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, passion for storytelling and the necessary technical skills to produce compelling visual content for broadcast and digital platforms. 
Qualifications required Degree/diploma in Film/TV Production, Media Studies or related field Minimum 2 years’ experience in television and media postproduction  Technical knowledge of video editing, lighting, sound and camera work  
Experience required 2 years 
Expertise required (skills and competencies) Exceptional visual storytelling skills. Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail Strong knowledge of professional video cameras and audio/visual equipment. Able to perform as a camera operator, video editor and other tv production related tasks.  Understanding lighting techniques, audio recording and color grading. Ability to perform under pressure Proficient in production-related software i.e. Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X Adobe Creative Suite.  Must be able to work independently and in a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects. 
Main duty 1 Operate video cameras for both in studio and on location productions. 
Main duty 2 Edit and deliver internal and commercial client projects 
Main duty 3 Setup and dismantle production sets, camera, lighting and audio equipment. 
Main duty 4 Assist in conceptualising and planning of video shoots for both internal and external productions. 
Main duty 5 Assist with recording and editing of the daily news bulletins for broadcast on tv and digital platforms. 
Main duty 6 Edit and package sponsored content promotional videos for One Africa linear channel, website and social media platforms. 
Main duty 7 Ensure that all broadcast deadlines are strictly adhered to. 
Main duty 8 Ensure that all promotional material is delivered according to content promotion schedules and deadlines.
